Nach dem Abitur studierte Christian an der Hochschule der Künste Bern Jazz Performance, mit Hauptinstrument E-Bass. 2012 war er Gewinner des Friedl-Wald Stipendiums. Seit 2008 ist er in diversen Projekten verschiedener Stilrichtungen engagiert.
